DIRECTOR'S PERSONAL ASSISTANT - JULY 2024

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Assistant to join our team and help track the various projects for our Founder and Director Joel. You can find out more about Joel and his path on our website. Our ideal candidate will be a master at Asana or Click up, well organized, brilliant at problem solving, can juggle multiple projects at once, passionate for spiritual growth and resonates with HariHaralaya’s mission. We are a small, family-style team that works closely together so it is important that you want to be part of community.

Please know that this is NOT a teaching role. We already have our facilitation staff. This role is for someone who wants to live the Yoga and be in community.

Start Date: July 2024
Contract Length: 4 months (possibility of extension up to 6 months)

Personal Assistant Responsibilities:  

  • Assisting in organizing projects for Hariharalaya, Yoga of Awareness Foundation, and Joel’s personal brand
  • Organize projects on Asana or Click up that Joel is involved with and help to see the overarching mission of Hariharalaya
  • Researching various topics that are associated with Joel and the brand
  • Calendar Management
    • schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and events
    • Maintain Joel’s personal and professional calendar

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in marketing and administration is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent tasks
  • Availability to commit to 40 hours per week.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER - JULY 2024

We are a life-changing yoga and meditation retreat center located in Siem Reap, Cambodia by the ancient temples of Angkor Wat. We offer a unique process of yoga, meditation & creativity for living in the present moment. We have hosted more than 400 retreats with 12,000 people from all over the world over the last 14 years.

Hariharalaya is an authentic, grassroots center for awakening – a true oasis of learning and healing – a place to discover yourself and learn to live in the present moment – a heart-centered community – a sacred place to live the teachings of yoga and meditation.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and help us spread our message of transformation and growth. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in social media management, have strong graphic design skills, and resonate with Hariharalaya’s mission.

Start Date: July 2024

Social Media Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Platform Management: Oversee Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Ensure consistent brand messaging.

  • Content Strategy: Schedule and post tailored content across platforms. Develop monthly content calendars.

  • Community Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster community engagement.

  • Growth Strategies: Implement strategies to increase followers and brand awareness. Analyze metrics for insights.

  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify and manage influencer partnerships to enhance visibility.

  • Storytelling and Community Building: Create compelling content that reflects the retreat experience. Build and nurture an online community.

  • Networking: Connect with similar pages and organizations to expand reach and build relationships.

  • Professional Communication: Maintain a professional tone and coherent messaging across all platforms.

  • Aesthetic Consistency: Ensure all social media activities align with brand aesthetics and strategy.

  • Live Event Management: Plan and promote live streams featuring talks or events. Maximize engagement and attendance.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Regularly review social media analytics. Provide insights and recommendations.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the content team to ensure cohesive brand representation.

Must be familiarized with:

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management with strong graphic design skills.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Facebook Insights, Instagram Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills in collaboration with the content team
  • Experience in a retreat or related niche is a plus.
  • Must have your own working laptop.
  • Availability to commit to 40 hours per week.

CONTENT CREATOR/VIDEOGRAPHER - AUG 2024

You will be part of our core team working with our founder/director Joel. The Content Creator’s main role is to help us grow Hariharalaya’s online presence by capturing the simple, profound beauty of the little moments. We are hoping to find someone who can shoot/create high quality content and is proficient on all major social media platforms. Our ideal candidate will have a social media work background and know the trending topics and hashtags.

We offer 3 yoga and meditation retreats per month. It is hard to describe in words the transformational process of awakening that takes place during the retreat process. We are looking for someone with a creative eye, who has good attention to detail, and is professional, organized and can hold space and be inspired.

We are a small, family-style team that works closely together so it is important that you want to be part of a community and to live in rhythm with the retreats. It really is a magical opportunity to be in community while deepening your capacity to hold space and be fully present.

Content Creator Responsibilities:  

  • Photography, Videography and Editing
  • Take key photos during the retreats
  • Testimonials from retreat participants

  • Create simple, short videos from the dharma talks (3x per month).

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Campaign Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive advertising campaigns that align with Hariharalaya’s marketing goals and mission, across digital, print, and social media platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure consistent brand messaging. Coordinate with the Social Media Manager/Copywriter to create engaging and compelling ad content.
  • Content Production: Partner with the Content Creator/Videographer/Graphic Designer to produce high-quality advertising materials, including visuals, videos, and written content.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns using analytics tools. Provide regular reports, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
  • Media Planning: Identify the best channels for advertising our retreats and services. Manage media buys and negotiate placements to maximize the effectiveness of our budget.
  • SEO and SEM: Optimize digital advertising efforts by implementing SEO best practices and managing SEM campaigns to ensure effective reach to our target audience.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new advertising opportunities and understand the competitive landscape. Use this information to inform campaign strategies and tactics.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to promote retreats and special offers. Collaborate with the Content Creator to produce engaging email content.
  • Event Promotion: Plan and execute advertising strategies for Hariharalaya events and special promotions, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in advertising and marketing. Apply this knowledge to keep Hariharalaya’s advertising efforts innovative and effective.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with our online community through advertising, fostering a positive and interactive relationship with current and potential guests.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing and Advertising Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and advertising strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
    Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess campaign performance and ROI.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative advertising ideas.
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and tools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is a plus, although it is not a requirement.
